I hope you don't abandon composing completely. Remembr that new years piano piece you made? I really liked that thing. Maybe one of these days we can have a "solo piano battle", eh?
That new years piano piece did a couple things for me. One, I was only able to use Pentatonic Minor at the time, and it made me realize I had to keep at Harmonic Minor until I figured out how to "use" it. It IS really pleasing to the ear, and makes for a more complex sounding final piece.
The other thing? Aw man, I figured out when I heard that piece that I was getting "owned" by like an eigth grader or whatever, LMAO, it really lit a fire under my butt.
I'll wait till these battles get over with, and you can figure I'll start "calling out" for a solo piano battle. THAT should drag the composers out of the woodwork here, eh? I know there's a couple of us here, anyways, I just wonder how many we *lost* when this site was down for a while... *shrugs* I figure DED or DJWiz will whoop my a$$ proper like in a solo piano battle, but... "I gots to know", hee hee.
I figure you'll like to get in on that one if it happens....
Oh well... get back to yer battle wit dis cat, I'll be rooting for you.
